European Narratives Observatory to fight disinformation online

Mapping Disinformation

The Narratives Observatory combatting Disinformation in Europe Systemically (NODES) consortium brings together 7 (seven) partners with the necessary expertise and qualifications to optimally fulfill the general objectives of the project.

About the maps

These maps constitute online supporting information for the NODES Project. The CNRS team has extracted the vocabulary of fakes news from the AFP fact checking database in English (4,428 doc.) and French (1,462 doc.) and produced a GarganText map. These maps display a monitoring of disinformation campaigns at the worldwide scale between 2021 and 2023.

These maps of the worlwide misinformation campaigns reveals three main blocs for the English ones: Covid misinformation, climate misinformation and domestic misinformation
